The Family of Phiwe Drives Recently Spent some time with the new Nissan Magnite Kuro, Magnite its a combination of Magnetic and ignite ,Kuro means black in Japanese.

The Nissan Magnite Kuro is a special edition model of the Nissan Magnite car that has a black exterior and interior, and is designed to be bold and make a statement.

Initially the Magnite was planned as SUV Model for the Datsun Manufacture. However, as the Datsun manufacture was expected to be discontinued, then Magnite was handed to the Nissan Manufactures in the final phases of its development. The name “Datsun Magnite” has been trademarked in India since April 2019 followed by the name “Nissan Magnite” in March 2020.[11] The vehicle was previewed for the first time in February 2020 in a side view silhouette form. The concept version was revealed virtually on 17 July 2020 as the Magnite Concept.

Looking from the outside of the Magnite Kuro special edition you will see an all-black exterior and interior as the nameplate suggests KURO .From black alloy when to the aggressive grille to the unique KURO badging. Featuring a black grille, skid plate, roof rails and 16-inch black alloy wheels, it also comes with headlamps sporting black finishers and special badges to differentiate it from other Magnite variants.

Stepping Inside the Kuro edition you get ample Leg Room and head room space, you will seat comfortable and will see a black instrument panel, black interior and door trim inserts. Infotainment It Fitted with an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, 6 speaker Surround sound system and cruise control, Reverse camera, a Centre console armrest with rear AC vents, Piano black Steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry and start, and LED daytime running lights

Under the bonnet The Nissan Magnite Kuro range is powered by a turbocharged 1.0l three-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 74kW and 160Nm in five-speed manual guise. The Magnite Kuro auto uses the same engine but is mated to a continuously variable transmission with outputs of 74kW and 152Nm. Fuel consumption averages are said to be 5.2I/100km for the manual and 6.0l/100km for the auto, but it all depends on how you are driving i was averaging 8.2l/100km

The Nissan Magnite Kuro safety tools include electronic stability programme, traction control system, hill start assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The Magnite has also achieved a four-star rating for adult occupant safety from the global new car assessment programme.

All Nissan Magnite Kuro models come standard with a five-year/150,000km warranty and a three-year/30,000km service plan.
