PEANUT BUTTER PRODUCERS ORDERED TEST AND REPORT ON AFLATOXIN LEVELS
JOHANNESBURG – Peanut butter producers have been given 14 days to test and report on the levels of aflatoxin in their products. Earlier this month, the National Consumer Commission recalled some peanut butters from retailers including Dis-chem, Pick n Pay and Woolworths. Eating higher than acceptable levels of aflatoxin can lead to health complications.
