MOSCOW- Russia is stepping up efforts to shape public opinion by training teenagers to become pro-war influencers who promote the government’s anti-West narrative. Through content creation camps, young people are taught how to make videos, use artificial intelligence, and grow online audiences, with guidance from soldiers and state media figures.
This initiative is part of a broader campaign since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, where authorities have tightened control over information, restricted criticism, and reshaped school curricula to support the war. The focus on youth highlights a long-term strategy to influence the next generation’s views on the conflict.
