RANDFONTEIN- Residents of Mohlakeng say they have been failed by government after a clinic project worth nearly R300-million remains incomplete eight years after construction began. The facility was expected to open in 2020 but has been delayed amid allegations of financial mismanagement, extortion and contractor failures.

Community members say the delay continues to affect access to healthcare, forcing residents to travel long distances for medical assistance while nearby clinics struggle with overcrowding. Activists have called on authorities to prioritise delivering basic services instead of exchanging blame over the stalled project.
