WESTONARIA- Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Gauteng Chairperson Bonginkosi Dhlamini has encouraged South Africans to actively participate in the upcoming local government elections rather than abstaining from voting. Speaking in Westonaria, west of Johannesburg, during Freedom Day commemorations, he stressed the importance of voting as a democratic right that should be exercised to influence change in the country.
Dhlamini said voting remains the most effective way for citizens to address challenges such as corruption, poverty, unemployment, and crime. He urged voters to support political parties that can restore the “promise of 1994” and work collaboratively in government to improve service delivery and tackle national problems.
