The murder case against a 22-year-old suspect accused of killing two-time world boxing champion Zolani “Last Born” Tete has been postponed to 25 August 2026 at the Mdantsane Magistrate’s Court.
The postponement will allow two additional suspects arrested on Sunday to be brought before court. Tete, 38, was shot dead outside his home in Mdantsane on Friday. The boxing fraternity says his death has robbed the sport of a talented boxer who was expected to return to the ring in November.
