ISTANBUL- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Istanbul for high-level security talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The visit follows Erdoğan’s recent discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who accused Kyiv of attempting to target the Russia-Turkey gas pipeline that supplies several European countries.

Zelensky said the meetings aim to strengthen partnership with Turkey, enhance protection of civilians, and advance stability and security both in Europe and the Middle East. He described the talks as substantive and focused on ensuring real measures for safety and regional security.
