VAAL RESIDENTS CALLED TO MASS MEETING

VEREENIGING – Residents from across the Vaal region have been invited to attend a peaceful mass meeting under the banner “Enough is Enough” at President Stadium in Vereeniging on 27 June 2026. Organisers say the gathering aims to unite communities from areas including Evaton, Sharpeville, Meyerton, Vanderbijlpark, Sebokeng, Ratanda, Palm Springs, Bophelong, Tshepiso and Boipatong around shared community concerns.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 09:00 and organisers have emphasised that it will be a peaceful event, with no weapons or looting allowed. Community members are being encouraged to attend in solidarity as part of a united Vaal movement calling for action on issues affecting local residents.
