DURBAN- AmaZulu secured a fourth-place finish in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership after edging Durban City 1-0 at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday. Nkosikhona Radebe scored the decisive goal 10 minutes from full-time, heading home from close range after being set up by Mondli Mbanjwa. The victory ensured Usuthu ended the season three points ahead of fifth-placed Sekhukhune United.

Despite the defeat, Durban City achieved their objective of finishing eighth on the league table and securing a top-eight spot. The hosts created several chances throughout the match, with Richard Ofori producing key saves to keep AmaZulu level before Radebe’s late breakthrough. Durban City nearly grabbed an equaliser in stoppage time, but Siphamandla Ncanana’s header drifted narrowly wide, allowing AmaZulu to claim all three points.
