US President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that the Tuesday deadline for Iran to reach a deal is final. He described Iran’s recent proposal as “significant” but said it was still “not good enough.”
Trump said the proposal represents a step forward, but more action is needed to satisfy the United States. He emphasized that Iran has been negotiating in good faith but must meet certain conditions.
Speaking at a White House Easter event, Trump warned that the Iranian government would face serious consequences if they fail to act. He added that the conflict could end quickly if Iran does what is required.
