JOHANNESBURG – Dozens of aspiring entrepreneurs say they lost their life savings after investing in what they believed was a lucrative business opportunity involving the Tammy Taylor Nails franchise. The victims are now demanding justice, blaming media personalities Mel Viljoen and Peet Viljoen for misleading them and leaving them with nothing to show for their investments.
The Viljoens have since faced legal trouble in the United States linked to an alleged card payment scam. US immigration authorities granted Mel Viljoen voluntary departure, and she returned to South Africa, landing at OR Tambo International Airport on 24 May.
