Suspended police Sergeant Fannie Nkosi is expected back in the Pretoria North Regional Court on Wednesday. He faces charges of theft, fraud and defeating the ends of justice after police allegedly found firearms, ammunition, cash and official police dockets at his home.
Nkosi, who was attached to the Organised Crime Unit, is also facing a separate case in Limpopo involving allegations that he took marijuana from police custody. The cases have been combined, while Nkosi remains in custody after his bail application and subsequent High Court appeal were dismissed.
