POLOKWANE – Prominent Limpopo lekompo musician Lehlogonolo “Shebe Maburna” Chauke has appeared in the High Court in Polokwane for a second bail application based on what his legal team says is fresh evidence. He remains in custody after previous bail applications were dismissed by both the lower court and the High Court.
Chauke, who has been behind bars since November 2025, is awaiting trial on charges including attempted murder and assault. His legal team requested more time for Advocate Laurence Hodes to study the case documents before the bail appeal continues.
