The South African Weather Service has issued warnings for severe weather across several provinces, including heavy rain, strong winds and possible flooding. A yellow level four warning for severe thunderstorms is in place for the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and the escarpment areas of Mpumalanga, with similar conditions expected to continue into Tuesday.

A yellow level two warning has also been issued for Gauteng, North West and the Highveld of Mpumalanga, where localised flooding may occur. Authorities are urging residents in affected areas to remain cautious and keep track of weather updates.
