FREE STATE – The EFF in the Free State is calling for urgent action after Fezi Ngubentombi Hospital in Sasolburg reportedly went without electricity for about 24 hours on Saturday, disrupting healthcare services.
The party says the provincial government must ensure hospitals have reliable backup power and wants Health MEC Monyatso Mahlatsi to account. The EFF warns that the situation reflects the deteriorating state of public healthcare in the province.
