GAUTENG- President Cyril Ramaphosa says he will not resign following the Constitutional Court judgment ordering Parliament to establish an impeachment committee over the Phala Phala matter. Speaking at the Union Buildings in Tshwane, Ramaphosa said the ruling only dealt with flaws in Parliament’s rules and did not find him guilty of misconduct or violating the Constitution.

Ramaphosa said he respects the court ruling and will cooperate with all legal processes, but plans to challenge the independent panel’s report through a court review. He insisted he has committed no crime and said resigning would undermine constitutional processes and ongoing efforts to rebuild the country and fight corruption.
