GAUTENG – Emfuleni Local Municipality has announced a planned water supply interruption on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00. The shutdown is necessary to carry out maintenance and optimisation work on the Arconpark Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) to improve the local water supply network.
The interruption will affect Arconpark (all extensions), Three Rivers (all extensions), Risiville, Duncanville, Waldrift, Vereeniging Extension 1, Roods Gardens, Homer, and Steelpark. Residents and businesses are urged to store enough water in advance, keep taps closed during the shutdown, and expect temporary low pressure or cloudy water once the supply is restored.
