The bail application of Sergeant Fannie Nkosi of the Gauteng SAPS Organised Crime Unit will continue on 20 April at the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court. The state is opposing bail, arguing that its evidence links him to protecting individuals involved in serious and violent crimes.
Nkosi was arrested earlier this month during a raid at his home in Pretoria North by the Madlanga Task Team. He faces charges of theft, defeating the ends of justice, and unlawful possession of ammunition and explosives.
