Suspended Organised Crime Unit member Sergeant Fannie Nkosi told the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court that he intends to plead not guilty to all charges against him. Nkosi was arrested on 2 April following a police raid at his home in Pretoria, where he faces charges including theft, defeating the ends of justice, and unlawful possession of ammunition and explosives.

Nkosi has denied allegations that he stole case dockets found in his possession. He also previously testified for eight days at the Madlanga Commission about his alleged links to alleged criminal figures Vusimuzi Matlala and Katiso Molefe, both of whom are central to ongoing investigations into organised crime connections.
