NAIROBI – Daniel Nduva of Nyali Golf & Country Club secured his first title on the Sunshine Development Tour after producing a strong back-nine comeback at the NCBA Royal Classic held at Royal Nairobi Golf Club in Nairobi. He finished the final round with a level-par 72 to end on 3-under-par 213, earning the winner’s prize of KES 400 000.
Despite a difficult front nine that included multiple bogeys and a double bogey, Nduva recovered impressively on the back nine with five birdies to climb back into contention and seal victory. He credited his driving accuracy and patience under pressure, saying staying composed after early setbacks allowed him to attack the closing holes and secure the breakthrough win.
