A 38-year-old Delft woman, Suraya Davids, and her 12-year-old son were shot and killed in a violent attack on Friday night, while four other people were injured. Police say an unknown gunman entered Davids’ home and opened fire on everyone inside, leaving the community in shock.
Family members described the horrifying moment the shooting unfolded, with Davids’ grandmother recalling screams and finding the aftermath inside the house. Authorities are investigating the incident, and although there are claims it may be linked to drug-related activity, the exact motive has not yet been confirmed.
