CAPE TOWN- MK Party MP David Skosana says President Cyril Ramaphosa should “fire himself” following the dismissal of Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe. Speaking ahead of Ramaphosa’s appearance in Parliament on Thursday, Skosana welcomed Tolashe’s removal but accused the president of avoiding accountability over his own controversies.
Ramaphosa is expected to face tough questions during a parliamentary Q&A session, his first appearance since the Constitutional Court ruled the National Assembly’s Phala Phala report vote unconstitutional and invalid. Skosana warned that tensions would rise in the National Assembly, saying “sparks will fly” during the session.
