Minister Nathi Mthethwa has bid Sandile kaNqose farewell. Sandile was a Sport Broadcaster who reportedly passed away yesterday at the age of 42. The minister described him as a ‘die-hard sports fan who had an insatiable passion for broadcasting.’
Sandile was a former sport anchor with eNCA, eTV and Yfm.
In his message, the minister said, “The flame of Sandile’s candle burnt out too soon. He was a young man whose colleagues describe as a consummate gentleman. Always helpful, jovial and humorous. He will be remembered as a good soul who was radiant and full of life, who delivered sport bulletins with the utmost professionalism”.
He concluded his message with the farewell words, ‘Hamba Kahle Sandile’ (Go well, Sandile).
