MIAMI- Lionel Messi scored on his 100th appearance for Inter Miami CF, but it was not enough as they collapsed from a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 against Orlando City SC. Miami looked in control early after goals from Ian Fray, Telasco Segovia, and Messi, who curled in a superb strike in the 33rd minute.
Orlando mounted a remarkable comeback, led by Martín Ojeda who scored a hat-trick, including a penalty equaliser. Tyrese Spicer completed the turnaround in injury time to seal the victory. The defeat leaves Miami still searching for their first win at Nu Stadium after conceding four unanswered goals.
