Albert Mazibuko, co-founder of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, has died at the age of 77.

Mazibuko passed away on Easter Sunday and is being honoured at a memorial service in Durban. He dedicated more than five decades to the group, having joined in 1969, and retired last year.

He was among the last surviving founding members alongside the late Joseph Shabalala, and is remembered for his lasting contribution to South African music.
