CHINA – Deputy President Paul Mashatile is on a working visit to China aimed at strengthening trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries. His programme includes participation in the China International Supply Chain Expo and meetings with government and business leaders, building on agreements reached at the South Africa–China Bi-National Commission held in Cape Town earlier this year.

In Beijing, Mashatile is expected to attend the 4th Supply Chain Expo and hold talks with Chinese Vice-President Han Zheng. He will later travel to Shenzhen to continue discussions from the 2024 Shenzhen Presidential Business Forum, focusing on expanding economic partnerships and investment opportunities between South Africa and China.
