JOHANNESBURG – A major power fault is affecting electricity supply in parts of Johannesburg. City Power confirmed that a distribution bar flash has damaged infrastructure in the Roodepoort area, leading to repeated outages despite several attempts to restore power.
Technicians are currently on site assessing the damage, and City Power warned that repairs could take up to four days, depending on the exact location and severity of the fault. Residents are advised to prepare for possible intermittent supply during this period.
