JOHANNESBURG – The Madlanga Commission is expected to address the case of suspended Crime Intelligence Deputy Head Feroz Khan on Wednesday morning. Khan, who was due to testify, is currently in hospital in a critical condition after being shot in Houghton, Johannesburg, on Sunday. He has been linked to the Aeroton drug bust in which police intercepted more than 700 kilograms of cocaine in the south of Johannesburg.
The commission is also expected to receive a supplementary statement from businessman and alleged informer Tumelo Nku, who is also implicated in the same cocaine consignment case. His earlier testimony was cut short on Monday after he requested more time to complete his statement.
