Robert Lewandowski is set to leave FC Barcelona at the end of the season after a successful four-year spell with the Spanish giants. The Polish striker confirmed his departure in an emotional Instagram post, saying he leaves with “the feeling that the mission is complete” after helping the club win three LaLiga titles. Lewandowski thanked Barcelona fans for their support and described Catalonia as his “place on Earth.”

Barcelona signed Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in 2022 for an initial fee of 45 million euros. During his time at the club, he scored 119 goals in all competitions and became one of the team’s most important players. Although he enjoyed outstanding seasons, including finishing as LaLiga’s top scorer, injuries limited his impact this campaign, where he managed 13 league goals in 29 appearances. Reports suggest the 37-year-old has received offers from Saudi Arabia, Italy and the United States.
