WELLINGTON- New Zealand’s White Ferns defeated the Proteas Women in the second ODI in Wellington, chasing down 346 runs set by South Africa. Despite strong performances from Laura Wolvaardt (69), Anneke Bosch (91), and Chloe Tryon (52), South Africa couldn’t defend their total.

Captain Amelia Kerr starred with 179 not out, supported by Isabella Gaze’s 68, leading the White Ferns to a two-wicket win. Their successful chase set a new record for the highest run chase in women’s ODIs.
