GAUTENG – Johannesburg Water says most parts of the city’s network have recovered following Rand Water’s planned maintenance, but some communities are still experiencing water supply disruptions. Areas served by the Commando, South Hills and Midrand systems remain affected, with residents continuing to wait for water to return to their taps.
The utility says the Commando System is among the slowest to recover, impacting suburbs such as Coronationville, Westbury, Claremont, Brixton and Crosby. Johannesburg Water has urged residents to remain patient as recovery efforts continue and the network gradually returns to normal.
