BOPHELONG- The Gauteng Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements will conduct an oversight visit to Bophelong on Thursday to evaluate progress on alternative sanitation interventions in Wards 6, 7, and 23. The visit follows growing community concerns over poor sanitation conditions and the effectiveness of the projects implemented in the area.

The oversight visit will be led by Portfolio Committee Chairperson, Nomathemba Mokgethi, and will include engagements with the Department and local stakeholders. The committee says the visit forms part of its commitment to ensuring improved service delivery and accountability in Gauteng communities.
