HAMMANSKRAAL- The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport will hold a public meeting on Saturday, 09 May 2026, in Hammanskraal to address ongoing public transport challenges and work towards restoring reliable bus services in the area. The session will be led by Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport Kedibone Diale-Tiabeka together with Tshwane MMC for Roads and Transport Cliff Tiangi Mogale as part of a joint intergovernmental effort.
The engagement aims to involve local communities in developing sustainable solutions for subsidised bus operations, strengthen organised commuter structures, and improve cooperation between residents and government. It forms part of broader efforts by the department and the City of Tshwane to address persistent transport disruptions and improve mobility services across Gauteng.
