EKURHULENI – The Gauteng Department of Health will hold a Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Campaign and launch the Lenacapavir HIV treatment at Tsakane Stadium in Ekurhuleni on Friday. The initiative, led by Health MEC Faith Mazibuko, aims to reduce teenage pregnancies, improve sexual and reproductive health education, and help young people make informed health decisions.
Young people attending the event will have access to health screenings, youth-friendly health services, HIV and reproductive health education, community dialogues, nutrition advice, and information on accessing Lenacapavir treatment. The event starts at 9:00 am at Tsakane Stadium.
