Former Thetha FM sports presenter Floyd Mahano has joined Lekoa FM, a community radio station based in Vereeniging. Mahano, who spent eight years at Thetha FM and also worked as a freelance journalist for Sedibeng Ster, officially joined the station on 12 June and says he has received a warm welcome from management, staff, and listeners.
Mahano has already made an impact by securing an interview with former Benedict Vilakazi following Bafana Bafana’s 2-0 defeat to Mexico. He currently hosts a one-hour sports segment on Medumo Ya Lekoa Afternoon Drive every Friday from 17:00 to 18:00, with plans underway for a new dedicated sports show on Saturdays.
