VANDERBIJLPARK – Emfuleni Local Municipality has announced the early closure of several municipal buildings on Friday, 12 June 2026, due to ongoing water outages affecting parts of Vanderbijlpark. The municipality said facilities impacted by water supply interruptions, including Customer Care Offices, would close earlier than usual.
According to the municipality, the temporary closure is necessary because the lack of water poses health and safety risks to both employees and members of the public. Residents and stakeholders have been asked for their understanding, with normal operations expected to resume on Monday, 15 June 2026.
