VEREENIGING – Residents and businesses in Vereeniging CBD, Peace Haven and Duncanville Industrial and Victoria are experiencing an emergency power outage due to a faulty 88kV conductor at the Vereeniging DS Substation. Emfuleni Local Municipality says technicians have been dispatched and are working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
The municipality has not provided an estimated time for power restoration and says updates will be shared as more information becomes available. Residents are encouraged to be patient and can contact the Electricity Control Room via WhatsApp on 065 871 7483 for further information.
