The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has heard allegations that North West businessman Suliman Carrim was seen having lunch at a Western Cape shopping centre after requesting a postponement of his appearance on medical grounds.
Evidence leader Advocate Matthew Chaskalson says two independent whistleblower reports, supported by eyewitnesses, placed Carrim at the shopping centre on Tuesday. He says the commission will present video footage on Thursday to support the claims.
