JOHANNESBURG – With just 15 days remaining before the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off, Hugo Broos is expected to announce his final 26-man Bafana Bafana squad on Thursday. The announcement follows the release of a 32-man preliminary squad last week as South Africa prepares for its first World Cup appearance since hosting the tournament in 2010.
The national team will also attend a special send-off dinner hosted by Cyril Ramaphosa at the Sefako M. Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria. The event will officially unveil the final travelling squad ahead of the global football showpiece.
