Experts have hailed the safe return of four astronauts from NASA Artemis II as a historic milestone in space exploration. Thabani Mazibuko says South Africa played a key role through its ground stations, which supported tracking and communication during the mission.

Mazibuko has urged the government to invest more in science and technology education, highlighting the work of South African National Space Agency. He says improving access to scientific knowledge will help young people become innovators rather than just consumers of technology.
