The African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo has confirmed that its 11th Provincial Elective Conference will proceed as scheduled at the end of this month, despite ongoing internal disputes. A court battle in the Vhembe District is currently challenging the legitimacy of the regional elective conference results.
Some concerns over suspected manipulation of branch general meetings have been escalated to the party’s National Executive Council. The ANC in Limpopo comprises 568 branches across five regions, with 529 branches set to cast their votes in this year’s elective congress.
