An ANC member in Limpopo has filed an urgent application in the Polokwane High Court to stop the party’s 11th provincial conference, set to begin on Friday. Basil Mabasa is challenging the verification of delegates from Ward 10 in the Collins Chabane Sub-region, claiming the process was procedurally irregular.
Mabasa wants the court to either halt the conference or allow the branch’s delegates to participate. The branch general meeting for verification was held in November last year.
