JEREZ- Alex Marquez secured a comfortable victory at the Spanish Grand Prix, ending championship leader Marco Bezzecchi’s impressive winning streak in MotoGP. The win marks another milestone for Marquez, who celebrated his 30th birthday on Thursday and had also taken his maiden MotoGP victory at the same Jerez circuit last year.
Despite the loss, Bezzecchi remains at the top of the standings, extending his lead to 11 points over Jorge Martin. Fabio Di Giannantonio moved up to third, while Marc Marquez sits fifth, 44 points behind the leader. Alex Marquez, meanwhile, climbed to seventh overall, improving on his previous best finish of sixth this season.
