CAPE TOWN- ActionSA has welcomed the dismissal of former Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe, calling it a victory for accountability. The Presidency confirmed Tolashe’s removal on Thursday, sparking reactions from political parties in Parliament.

ActionSA’s Dereleen James said the decision vindicates the party’s efforts to expose corruption and wrongdoing within government. Speaking in Cape Town ahead of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s oral reply session in the National Assembly, James said she had every reason to smile following the announcement.
