The National Consumer Commission has announced a recall of certain Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 vehicles due to reports of automatic transmission faults. The recall affects 1,846 vehicles sold between 8 January 2025 and 16 January 2026, highlighting the need for owners to have their vehicles inspected.

The affected LC300 models are equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission that uses linear solenoids to control gear shifts. Faults in these solenoids may lead to gear-shifting issues, which could affect the vehicle’s performance.

Toyota has advised owners to contact their nearest dealerships to arrange inspections and necessary repairs. The company emphasized that addressing the issue promptly is essential to ensure the safety and reliability of the vehicles.
