President Cyril Ramaphosa says he will soon address the nation on the murders of women in Ekurhuleni and the government’s response to gender-based violence.
Nine women’s bodies have been found in the area over the past two months, with three suspects arrested in one of the cases. Ramaphosa says high-priority investigations are underway, supported by a specialised multi-disciplinary team.
