JOHANNESBURG – The Betway Premiership returns this weekend, with defending champions Orlando Pirates starting their title defence against newly promoted Milford FC at home on Saturday. Pirates will be aiming for a second consecutive league title after ending Mamelodi Sundowns’ dominance last season.
Kaizer Chiefs will also begin a new chapter under French coach Fernando da Cruz after another disappointing campaign. Newly promoted Kruger United and Milford FC face a tough challenge as they make their return to top-flight football.
