CAPE TOWN – President Cyril Ramaphosa, as Chairperson of the Southern African Customs Union Summit, delivered the opening remarks at the 9th SACU Summit of Heads of State and Government held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The summit brings together SACU member states to provide strategic and political direction for the organisation. As the world’s oldest functioning customs union, SACU continues to promote regional integration, boost trade, support industrial development and strengthen economic cooperation among its member countries.
