SEBOKENG – The Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality, Hassan Mako, has expressed deep sorrow following a house fire in Sebokeng, Zone 12, where a mother and her three children died in the early hours of Saturday. He visited the grieving family in Ward 33 alongside members of the mayoral committee.
The municipality has pledged full support, including counselling and social relief services, to assist the affected family. Municipal spokesperson Mphikeleli Msibi said officials are working closely with the family and relevant departments, while urging the public to avoid speculation as investigations continue.
