SEBOKENG – The Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Tasneem Motara, has confirmed that the allocation of housing units at Sebokeng Extension 28 will take place on 15 June 2026. The official handover programme is scheduled to begin at 08:00 at the Extension 28 Walk-Ups in Sebokeng. Residents whose names appear on the approved beneficiary list have been urged to attend and prepare for the allocation process.
The department explained that the late notification was due to administrative processes required to verify and confirm the final beneficiary list. The event will be attended by Cyril Ramaphosa, MEC Tasneem Motara, and the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality, who will participate in the official housing allocation programme.
